LOL!!!
The truth is these are frightening times and humor can lesson the emotional impact. I know a Freeper who is taking a break for a few weeks. I recently did so. What is happening to our country is serious and a little levity is necessary to keep our sanity.

The keyboard warriors here are something else. You write as if there is great personal trauma fighting some battle from home. Those of us that have fought in real, shooting wars can easily recognize who we would trust at our side in tough times. Want to guess where I'd place you and the other humor mongers?
IMHO any post that doesn't support the goals of this forum are a distraction, waste of time and don't belong here. Please find a kind and gentle chat room somewhere.

I too have to take a break at times..No Rush, won't talk politics with my kids, even watch what I read on FR. You cannot live in a continuous state of stressed out..
I just got a phone call from my grandson that is in the Air Force and he's coming to see me tomorrow...that makes my heart sing. :O) then its back to Montana for him. He loves the military, and his father was in the Air Force for 9 years active and I don't know how long inactive.. My other son was in the Navy...We are a military family.
