Lindy, sorry, but the word "praise" means to compliment something or someone. PERIOD. Its use is wholly appropriate. You come across as an ill-read ignoramus who thinks that because "praise" is a homonym for "prays," that it is therefore appropriate only with regard to praising the Almighty.

I know, it's days later after the posts were made, but really ... your objection to the use of the word "praise" is laughable and ludicrous. You do no credit to Free Republic with that kind of nonsense.
