Very interesting. I wonder if this also has anything to do with nuclear engineers, professors and physicists meeting tragic fates in Iran.
The Times article clearly states the program was started and run at the orders of the Bush Administration. Further it clearly indicates that all the Bush hating FReepers were totally, absolutely wrong and misguided in their criticism. They were wrong then and are still wrong. They have egg on their faces. They are celebrating today with crow sandwiches.
How does the crow taste? Is it good?
Or possibly the virus was “carpet bombed” to every IP address within 15 miles of the plant and all the personal computers are still infected. Unless a virus is defined in virus software and stays benign it’s not found in a scan, right?
Wasn’t that article posted here on FR? It was a great read on how it worked thru their system ...allot of techies were commmenting so one could understand how remarkable this whole operation was.

Because Iran realizes the whole world now knows they were completely pwned. It's the gift that keeps on giving. And the paranoid can worry that there are other booby traps either in place already, or waiting to be carried in by someone who could not grasp the concept of IT security.

I been doing computers for 25 years and I gotta tell you that this is absolutely masterful!
The first article I read it on from FoxNews.com said it infected over 100,000 computers looking for just EXACTLY the computers it wanted and did absolutely NOTHING to any of them, only hitting its targets.
I congratulate the authors and those responsible.
