We went one time in 2010 and we both picked up a stomach virus from the nasty theater seats. Mr Ditter ended up in the hospital for almost a week. We have been once already this year, saw True Grit. eh?......... couldn't hear or understand the stilted speech they used.... ok.... not great..... fair. Hollyweird is going to have to make it without us.

I thought “True Grit” was a gem, and that the girl absolutely stole the movie. What you heard as “stilted” speech, I saw as extremely iconic and different from other movies, and liked it.

That’s one nice thing about a DVD ... if you have a problem hearing in the theater ... you can put words up. I do it all the time, especially with an English movie.. I mean as in British accents.
