Thanks. Neither of the first two fit my interests so I wouldn’t be interested in either case. Neither does the third, actually. My genre’s are pretty limited. action, war or Westerns. Especially historical dramas that meet that criteria. Good comedies also fit the bill, but not contemporary ones. I DVR’d “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World” a few weeks ago and have watched it twice already. Now, that’s comedy!

Yes, MMMMW is one of the greats, loosely and not quite as effectively re-made as “Rat Race.” But there is a scene in Rat Race that, if you know history, is hysterical. Jon Lovitz has his family in a car, racing for the gold key, and his daughter sees a sign “Barbie Museum.” She wants to stop and of course, he doesn’t. She throws a fit, and they stop. Next scene, you see a bunch of neo-Nazi skinheads: “The real Klaus Barbie, the Klaus Barbie few people knew, was a complex man . . . .” says the tour guide.
