Lee should go live in some of the more violent places in the world. He would find that there is a massacre of his "people" in many parts of Africa and their continued enslavement in other parts of the world.

And if he was just a little empathetic to human beings not of his own race, he would see real violence and tragedy waged against innocent people all over the Muslim world.

Lee should also look around his own country - the most violent sections of the United States are populated by minorities - a problem he could actually help with...

Well, a problem he could help with IF he realized many inner city blacks don't read history books and almost never interact with 'white' people - and that maybe, just maybe - there's some incentive problems within the black culture.
