Many were questioning why Sarah had not made any public comment before now. Once again, her timing is perfect! This thoughtful, sincere response was worth waiting for! Although the DBM will try to portray Obama's comments today as the best speech he has ever given, etc., there is no way that he will be able to improve on what Sarah has already said - the main reason being that he doesn't have a sincere bone in his body!

As POTUS, Obama had to make a statement right after the incident happened. Sarah did exactly the right thing in waiting until more of the facts became apparent and some of the heated rhetoric had dissipated. Great job!!!

I agree. By putting off making a statement until now, Palin goes up against the White House Teleprompter on location in Tucson today.
