I will have to try it one of these cold days ~ though I can’t imagine anyplace around here serves a great version of it. Perhaps next time I’m in the South?
It’s not a particularly savory dish.
Much like meatloaf it is a comfort food.
Its just a tenderized and seasoned cube steak that is marinated in butter milk, dredged in seasoning and fried, then covered with country gravy.
