When was the last time the chimney was cleaned? you migh have too much crap on the walls of the chimney. And adjusting the flue takes some time to get the right draw.
it was just repaired, they put a new flue in it. only thing I could think of the is wood might be green, dont know how to tell, but surely the guy sold me wood ready to go.
