Yes my old friend, Denninger screws up sometimes. Highly emotional people tend to do that a lot. Sometimes when he gets angry he loses his rationality and launches the wrong attack. He can be very wrong. He is mad at the tea party because he feels that they dropped the ball on the financial mess, among other things, and he feels that he has been duped. And to some degree he may be right, but I hope that in the end- he turns out not to be. I still want to hope in the tea party because there is not much more to hope in at this point in the game. But in any case Karl feels sure that he has been duped- and,

There is nothing more nasty than a scorned Karl Denninger.

Sometimes that can be bad, but most times- I think it helps to drive him on in his fight against “Evil”.

Fortunately, He is most often on the right side. I guess there are times when you have to look for the good in people even when they make some huge mistakes. He is a great writer who has worked like an ox to try and expose fraud, and wrong doing. You can’t say that he does not give it his all in trying to change things. I simply wonder sometimes how he finds all the time.

So I totally share your frustration and grief in Denninger’s Faults(and I could name more), Yet I think that overall he has a longing to do great good.

Take Care

I listeneđ to several interviews of new committee chairs and new congressmen on the downscale radio talk shows. It made me very pessimistic. Except for obamacare they assure us that they are not going to undo anything. They say they will make it all more efficient and will trim the deficit a huge 3 or 5 or 10%. They will trim waste here and rationalize there. In short they will be REPUBLICANS. They are conservatives and will work hard to conserve what the Left has managed to get enacted. Optimistically they will not make things worse except, by not CUTTING OFF the deficit, they are making the DEBT worse. Talking about the deficit is just a way to mask the fact that there is no intention to reduce the debt and thus to begin to get us out of this hole with collapse at the bottom. They intend to dig even further toward that collapse, just a little more slowly. I feel pretty betrayed also but it's not like I didn't expect it.

Hey old buddy,

KD has had some really good insights, but he seems a bit schizo and shows some incredibly bad judgement at times. I can judge his work on an individual basis, and I think he nailed it with this one, but I still am more than a little skeptical when I see his name on an article.

He is still a grandmaster of the angry rant, and I can appreciate that. LOL
