I hope that even deep-blue California voters reject the June 2011 tax proposition. I just cannot believe that sane people look at CA today and conclude, “Not taxed enough.”
Even in CA, there’s a reasonable chance it’ll fail.

Yes, they are that stupid. It will be OTHER people’s money that will be taxed. You know, those evil rich people who don’t have a heart. THEY aren’t rich, so it won’t be them.
And don’t forget the unions will have their pro tax political ads running LONG before to make sure the electorate will be thoroughly convinced that TAXES is the answer to all that ails the state.
