Malcoda had no business being in charge of kids in class since he acted in a cruel fashion to a kid who was suffering. He displayed no leadership skills whatsoever, just malicious indifference to one and siding with his students against him. Malacoda added to the kid’s problems and assisted in pushing him further into isolation. He should be embarrassed and ashamed and should never teach again.
The college classsroom is no place for the mentally disturbed and paying students have no obligation to make accomodations for such, no matter what you or the ACLU thinks about it.
