In a situation like this why doesn’t the concerned person call every imaginable local, state, and federal agency until SOMEONE pays attention.

I can’t imagine having something like this on my conscience. To have known and not done enough...but at the same time, with today’s PC rules/laws would “they” have been able to stop Loughner? We’ll never know now.

The parents knew they had a crazy on their hands. A responsible parent then does things to keep themselves and others safe. There are a lot of us who spied on our kids..searched their rooms..read their email..etc. Just doing our job as adults to make sure that our kids were not getting into trouble. We also talked to our kids and spent a lot of time with them and kept them involved with activities that socialized them and taught them right from wrong.
How did this guy have a gun and his parents not know it? If they knew it..then they should have known that was a big problem.

My dtrs a teacher. They have no rights. The administration and NEA are the bigbosses. It’s almost impossible to get a disruptive kid removed. Just one kid can keep the other 25 from learning - educational redistribution. She loves her kids, loves teaching, works 3-4 hrs extra each night w/o compensation. I’ve tried to get her to quit but she’ll never leave it. She was born a teacher...
