John P. Wheeler III: Is justice blind?
Murder victims like John P. Wheeler III, who leave this earth in the most violent ways, deserve justice in this life as well as the next. I know they'll get it later, but is justice blind in the here and now for victims like this ex-Pentagon official and Vietnam vet who stepped out on a precipice -- and took on the world -- to build a memorial to the most hated military men in the history of America?
Will John Wheeler's killer get away with snuffing out his life in a senseless act that borders on treason and all things American? The killer of another military man, my brother, didn't get away with murder and neither should John Wheeler's killer.
John P. Wheeler III: Profiling the case from the beginning - the facts to date
If you have been following the John P. Wheeler III murder investigation news, you already know how complicated it is to keep all the facts about the case straight--and the family, friend, business associates, neighbors and witness comments as well.
To aid in that effort, and to assist those attempting to create their own working profile of the case, this article and criminal profiles column links are broken down into pertinent sections about the case as of February 22, 2011, with links to each article listed as the section heading.
John P. Wheeler III neigbors talking: More case details available, but why?
John Wheeler's neighbors are opening up and discussing the John P. Wheeler murder case with media today and they are telling aspects of the investigation that have been held very closely to the vest thus far by Newark Police Department. USA Today reported details from the neighbor who, along with his wife, alleged that they -- Robert and Phyllis Dill, drove John Wheeler to the train station in Wilmington on Christmas Eve.
That information was previously shared in news accounts in early January, but the information they are sharing now details the finding of a ransacked Wheeler home when Robert Dill went in to "check on things" after observing a window open in the upstairs area from outside the house.
A good synopsis of the case details to date, especially that second one.
Cheers.
