The gunman.

Yep. Which, of course, is why I wrote this in the second paragraph:

...the primary blame in this case lies with the godless young man who pulled the trigger. He made the conscious, callous, brutal choice to become a mass murderer.

God has been banned from where Loughner has spent the majority of his time over the past 16 years.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the guy who pulled the trigger is to blame for the shootings. I guess it’s an odd thing to think, personal responsibility and all that.

No, it’s not odd at all.

But, in this case, as in so many others, the Left is attempting to cast the larger societal blame on everyone except the ones who actually deserve it. Themselves.

Which was kind of the point of the article, I think.

Well done. Abortion is the key to all our ills. When those in this country became numbed to abortion, they became numbed to everything else that is evil.

The Founding Fathers knew that only a Godly people could keep the heaven sent gift of a free, peaceful, and prosperous America. How can there be peace when there is violence in the womb?

Let's noodle this out.

Conservatives believe in individual responsibility. That the environment has nothing to do with the choices the individual makes.

But libs believe in collective responsibility. The idea that this shooter is a product of his environment, and, that he and the environment are guilty of the shooting. OK. They are entitled to their opinion, as we are to ours.

The article states the well-known fact that atheism, selfish behavior, disregard for life, are all tenets of liberalism. All were of paramount importance in the AZ killings.

(I would add that political killing is a PARTICULAR plank of the liberal's manifesto, from Marx to Ayers and everyone in between.)(Likewise political killing is also a PARTICULAR no-no to conservatives and the God-fearing.)

So the obvious, inescapable conclusion, is, according to both the liberal and conservative viewpoints, that....

The blame for the AZ killings lies clearly, plainly, and indelibly on the backs of ALL LIBERALS, who nurtured and encouraged the world-view and ethos of this innocent young man.

He is blameless because he is merely a product of his environment.

The liberals did these killings, and upon them rests the blame.
