I wonder if the people who advocate this type of tragedy-exploitation to attack your political enemies realize that, by doing this, they are walking in the footsteps of some of the most evil people in history. People who played a role in some of the most horrible mass slaughters ever recorded, from the Communist revolution in 1917, through the horrors of life as a Jew or an observant Christian in Nazi Germany prior to September 1939, through the Rwanda barbarism visited by the Hutus on the Tutsis in 1994. All these was accompanied by the misuse of the mass media, the use of calculated lying to turn the tide of mass attitude against the “enemy,” and if the results were bloody and horrible, well, “you can’t have an omelet without breaking some eggs,” in Lenin’s pithy words.
The so-called "enemy" on the right in the USA has more guns and ammo than the US Army. That's not a fight a sane left would want.
They cannot win it.
