Good points you’ve made, REDWOOD.
I don’t think the media is gonna let go of this one too quickly.
I have first hand experience with it and a family member
Yes, I have heard of those bogus studies. Wanna buy a few hundred studies that prove man causes Glowbull Warming with CO2?
You just pinged the wrong Tiger and you’re not the only one who has known people with mental illnesses.
“Id put my money on schizophrenic. Everything else; politics, drugs, drinking, whatever, is meaningless.”
These days the mentally ill often self medicate, what with such easy access to all forms of substances.
The twitter gal mentioned alcohol poisoning. He got busted for drug paraphernalia.
It is a pattern, and his rants conform to that, too.
His writings don’t follow any consistent themes, either.
Mentally ill and using drugs and alcohol. Hopefully the parents will one day shed some truth on this.
Yes, the mentally ill often self-medicate which is the opposite of saying that drugs cause mental illness. In regards to schizophrenia alcohol is probably very bad and pot is probably calming. But a schizophrenic on no drugs at all is likely just as dangerous as he would be on drugs depending on his own psychological makeup. They have no hold on reality at all.
I think youd have a hard time stopping them. Youd have no legal right to, unless they broke a law.
hard time stopping them unless you put their ass out of the house. want to be your own man? be your own man on your own dime
Sorry for the wrong ping. It is late and I did it from memory.
I know for a fact that my statements are correct due to our family’s experiences. I have met many others with the same experiences at the mental hospitals while visiting my family member after he has been convinced by another smoker that it couldn’t be the pot.
The many psychiatrists that have worked with iterate and reiterate that for a mentalli ill person to have successful treatment, the person has to stay off the dope. It has certainly proven true with my family member. He stays sane until he sticks a joint in his mouth.
As I said in a previous post; drugs exacerbating a mental condition is the opposite of causing one. Especially schizophrenia.
Oh, I’d certainly blame pot too. It has been known to cause schizophrenia.
Sadly, the “cure” is often worse than the disease in schizophrenia. The side effects of most anti-psychotics are pretty rough.
In my area it is pretty easy to get a court order to force a mentally ill adult child to get help if they are a danger to themselves or others. Unfortunately the quality of help available for mental patients is generally pretty poor from what I have seen.
I pray for the victims, the young man who killed them, and his parents. This is a tragedy for all involved.
That is complete and utter horse crap. Only an ignoramus would say such unsupportable nonsense.
Grow up. I’ve seen it first hand myself as have many others. Your defense with your drug isn’t healthy.
You have seen no such thing. I am not defending drugs either I am defending the truth about mental illness. You are simply full of BS.
Whatever you say, moron.
Yeah, whatever, ignoramus.
I do not have first hand knowledge of anyone else, but marijuana destroyed my family member’s brain. He will never be what he could have been prior to smoking pot. His doctors have told me that it is the reason that mental illness is so much more prevalent today.
Your doctors are full of it then. Something was/is wrong with your relative apart from his pot use.
I’m sure you know better than we and his doctors.
This murderer sounds schizophrenic to me, too.
