Prediction: If Ariz Gov is Republican and has to appoint someone to replace her The Dems will scream and throw a fit unless she appoints a Democrat to replace her! (We will even here how the Repubs had a hand in this...)

If its the same as in Indiana, House vacancies are all done by elections, specially called obviously.

There is no constitutional provision for the governor to make appointments to the House. The seat will remain vacant until a special election can be held.
