What the hey!? Yesterday, repealing Obamacare was going to cost money. Anybody know what they’re talking about?
The CBO analysts’ hands are tied. They are given a bill by a Rep or a Senator, and told to score it. That is what they must do — score that bill and only that bill. They do not have the latitude to say:
“Well, this bill would actually reduce the deficit; however, you have stripped from this bill a lot of necessary spending measures which you are planning to enact in separate bills. And if those other spending measures were included in the bill you’ve asked us to score, then the cumulative effect would be to increase the deficit.”
That’s what is meant by “garbage in, garbage out.”
By the clever use of words Desm can say the CBO repoted repealing 0dumbocare would cost te Government money( Not us, but the gov’t)
so CBO says repleaing 0dumbocare will eliminat 540 illion is spending but also eliminiate 770 billion in revenue.
REVENUE my butt. it is taxes from us.
So if we repeal 0dumbo care w save 540 Billion in spending and let us taxpayers keep 770 billion o our OWN money.
Remember Dems think of it as the gov’t money which is why they can call it revenue
