To 87 - Because a lot of them are finally learning that Palin isn't 'one of them'. As if any of 'them' jog, hunt, fish and tirelessly traverse the country advocating conservatism all the while maintaining her femininity, and figure, and even finding time to let folks know, come what may, she has her core beliefs and those beliefs aren't negotiable.
Compare this to some yenta or pot-bellied hick sitting at a PC 24/7.
