France is socialist godless secular humanist post Christian nation and therefore under the curse of the living and only true God, the God of Israel, as are all nations who sin against Him and therefore are morally and consequently economically bankrupt as the living God of Israel is Sovereign and Lord of Hosts.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord , but sin is a reproach to any people." A prerequisite knowledge and of understanding( the departure from evil is understanding) and wisdom for securing the blessing of the Lord God of Israel, creator of Heaven and earth and all that dwell therein. Back in the day I was doing TDY operations in Africa. I was rubbing elbows at several hotel bars in Djibouti and in N’Djamena, Chad, with the men of the 13th Demi-Brigade of the Legion Etrangere (2eme Regiment de Parachute).
