Preface, I was born a Mormon and I am still a member, so I believe that I have standing to say the following: Practicing Mormons put their religion over their politics. We put this country at risk by electing them in my view. Ergo, no Huntsman’s, no Reid’s, no Hatches, and Romney’s. Mormonism is at its core very socialist. I no more want a Mormon as president than I want a Muslim. The Mormon Church has supported Harry Reid since they paid for his college education. The Mormon Church supports illegal immigration, and you would be surprised at just how many illegals there are in Utah.

I keep warning about how many are here, but I don’t think anyone believes me!

I agree with you 100% on" mormons putting their religion over their politics...or country." I just posted this thread about the illegal situation and the church's stance on it.

Among Mormons, a deep divide on immigration

"Finally, in November, the Mormon Church stepped into the fray, carefully lending its weight to Yapias' position. It endorsed a set of principles issued by Utah business leaders who oppose Sandstrom's legislation, and issued a statement calling for immigration policy to be made not just with an eye toward the rule of law, but also compassion and family unity.

Looks like the stance is make business happy and keep the converts a-comin'.
