Well, that's a good point. How much backbone do you think Lamar has?

Does he have it all, if Boehner starts clubbing him the way he did Joe Barton last summer?

What I'm thinking Boehner is going to do is, he'll let Lamar turn up the heat a bit and get Holder to squirming, .....

And then Boehner will take the phone call from the White House and do a deal over Lamar's head, sell out Lamar, and cash the committee's political chips for a tax break for the Chamber of Commerce, or contracts in Ohio, or keeping an Air Force Base open.

Or maybe just a "get out of jail" card that Boehner can give some congressional RiNO good old fellow that gets caught with his pants down in the men's room.

Something like that.
