Got any photos of Stan’s Drive-In? It was out toward the park and I don’t remember the street...

There's a picture of Stan's at this link: http://digitallibrary.usc.edu/assetserver/controller/view/search/CHS-33154

Stan's Drive-in was at the north end of the Fulton street "main drag" in downtown Fresno at Sacramento and Broadway. I used to drag the main on Fulton when I was 15 and 16 yrs old in my first car, a beat up old Model A Ford which I later traded straight across for a more modern 53 Ford sedan. Wish I still had the old Model A.

The know all, see all local government tore out Fulton street in the mid sixties and replaced it with a mall. The downtown section never recovered.

"Dragging the main" then moved to Belmont street between Blackstone and the Belmont Circle out by Roeding park. Mars Drive-in was the one out by the park. The Belmont drag was never like the main drag on Fulton. Those were the days.
