seems the door handle & the lock assembly was busted. good thing I have a friend who was not only available on short notice, and is a true handyman, but earlier in his life was also a locksmith. with a screwdriver and fifteen minutes it was repaired. whew, happy Monday!
UGH - but your friend saved the day! You checked to make sure nobody tried to burglarize your house?
