In 2008 Republicans failed to coalesce behind an electable candidate, so the Dems and mainstream media made sure we got stuck with McCain. Even McCain should have been able to beat Zero, but he ran his campaign about as well as he flew his plane over North Vietnam on the day he got shot down.
