Does Lake Superior State College ring a bell? Although it's been a university since 1987. It's in Sault Ste. Marie.

Graduated from Eastern Michigan Universtiy in 1972 and had not heard of them.

Knew of UofM, Mich State, Central Mi U, Wayne State U (better known to us as Commie U), but not of them.
