Oh,get real.

Stalinst cops are the ones that bash down doors in the middle of the night without warrants.

It's been a long time, but I once had a badge on my shirt and knew some police officers were arrogant jerks who felt themselves better than the "civilians" even then, and the unneeded proliferation of militaristic SWAT gear and raids has only made things worse.

No-knock and forced entry are wonderful cover for gang-bangers doing home invasions.

Tel you what:I wouldn't vote to convict anybody who shot any person violently forcing their way into a residence unless that person had clearly and loudly identified himself as a police officer and shown a legal warrant.

No-knock warrants are a pimple on the butt of American law.

I have a problem with no-knock raids being used when they shouldn't be. Read Justice Thomas' opinion in Wilson v. Arkansas. He was very clear on when no-knocks were permissible and when they were not. He laid out, chronologically, the common law history regarding search warrants, and the knock and announce requirement.

However, attacking the police will not fix the problem with an over-use of no-knocks. Indeed, it will only make the problem worse, and that is what the Marxists are banking on.

What I find disgusting is that no-knock warrants are allowed at all; the Fourth amendment reads:
Amendment IV.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses,
papers, and effects, against *UNREASONABLE* searches and
seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue,
but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation,
and particularly describing the place to be searched,
and the persons or things to be seized.

That the Judiciary [and “law enforcement” agencies] thinks someone knocking your door down and storming into your house, threatening you with deadly force from the outset (weapons drawn), is REASONABLE is quite disturbing to me.
