Let me tell you a story. I am adopted; the state of Texas says that my adoptive parents are my birth parents. Add this: on the adoption records, my natural mother gave a false name. To get any of this stuff changed, I would have to go to court. Listen to T.E. Lawrence: “Documents lie.”
