There is no way that Todd Palin could live in Washington. There is no way their children could happily live under the microscope, if living in Washington. The Palin's life is Alaska in exchange for living in the White House would be like taking fish out of water--I don't care how good the parenting skills.
You are totally underestimating the Palins.

Oh, I am sure they could make it anywhere if forced to do so...but I don’t wish that Ugliness on the Palin family as a whole.

And I feel like the Palins already live under a microscope.
Heck they had to build the fence up to keep the renter author idiot from watching them.
That is one creepy thing to move into the house next door to a family you claim not to be found of.
