Come along on another Alaskan adventure as we profile amazingly hard workers in the timber industry. Loggers are hearty and hardy, and the ones I know are true conservationists. I cant wait for you to meet these lumberjacks!
During this Christmas season, do you ever wonder where you get many of your Christmas trees, firewood, packing boxes
shoot, just look around at everything timber touches and ask yourself who begins the production of these wood products? Youll meet them on an exciting trip to an Afognak Island logging camp where our daughter learns even more about our familys #1 lesson: tough work ethic and character will fulfill and sustain you.
Learn how the logging families live in such a remote part of Gods country and how they cherish the land that provides their livelihood. Youll see how their reforestation efforts allow the forest regrowth rate to repeat a life cycle of new forest nearly every 20 years. These loggers actually care more about the sustainability of their forests than most anyone because they love their livelihood, they know America relies on our domestic timber industry for good jobs and economic security, they are inspired in the great outdoors, and many of them want their kids to get to grow up to be loggers. Basically, the good folks youll meet want to be allowed to do what they love to do and what anyone who lives among lumber and wood products rely on them to do for us.
In addition, come see Willows eyes open to a new rugged and rustic lifestyle. Her driving skills improve (?) before she undertakes a familys rite of passage with an upcoming drivers license test. Any parent can relate.
With only a couple more episodes to share, I promise you a fun and informative episode of Sarah Palins Alaska this Sunday night at 9pm ET/8c on TLC. Follow me there!
You can watch a preview of the episode
~ Sarah Palin
I resemble those remarks....
Hope you had a great Christmas buddy.
excellent Christmas here now get over the not Rush thread there pilgrim
um, my hubbby wouldn’t put up with that.
Maybe there should br a new show.
America's Next Top Commander-in-Chief
onyx, when does this one repeat?
I only managed to watch the first 15 minutes, when company popped in.
Oh, but that know-it-all Bill Kristol said today on FOX that she will not run in 2012 because of family consideratons.
Bill Kristol: Go stuff yourself!
Wow. Very Modest.
Good Job on that choice.
Can she see Mexico from her home? /sarc
>You MUST be able to command authority like Meir commanded Mossad. Your enemies need to fear you, not caricature you.
From what I’ve seen over the past couple of years Palin can do that. Who else do you have in mind that would have that command authority?
Who else has stood up to the left and Obama like Sarah has the past two years? Anyone who has been sitting on their hands on the sidelines IMO wouldn’t meet your criteria for commanding authority. That type of person would have already been out there fighting back against this tyranny.
After the rousting they got, I don't think they'll venture back with that attitude again. Every episode, she's doing "man's work", haha! Imagine how boring it would be to watch an hour of her doing nothing but washing dishes and changing diapers.
“We can smell your fear”
LOL!
Thank you for the perfect response to those who hate the goodness and American spirit of our Sarah!
I might add that it is obvious from the frantic and kooky comments that Sarah gets, “Sarah is OVER THE TARGET!”.
John Murtha(D-Hell) has been behaving very well too!
LOL
She did try to change it up by vacuuming the RV and scrubbing the boat.
But I’m trying to be good!
LOL!
I understand what you are saying and do agree; however, the media ratings, good or bad, decide who we see plastered across our TV's.
We would never know who else stood up to the Left, as they are not ratings boosters-which is determined by the media and also PR people who also work for the politicians.
You have to be attractive to win over the superficial voter--JFK and Jackie set those standards. JFK flashed his boyish smile and won hearts; as by 1960 TV sets were in the majority of homes. While before when radio and newspapers were how one got their nightly news, Dewey could easily challenge Roosevelt's age, but did not mention the fact that he used a wheelchair. You can no longer be or appear too old, as old ideas are considered "no change", "same old"..."how we got where we are today".
It's all image. Today, everyone has to have written a book about their life in some manner. 24/7 media spotlight sells "a product" that makes money for the corporation.
The media will decide who the candidates will be--so of course you would ask the question--who else is out there?
I dunno--but has to be someone out of 310,537,899 [05:49 UTC (EST+5) Dec 28, 2010] million people in this country. I think the media flies to Palin first in hopes she will be too quick to endorse or not endorse a candidate or bill before all the vetting is done--to trip her up. And she bites every time.
But you may be right--perhaps she is the best candidate [we know of] for the job. We do have Governor Rick Perry, who is also promoting his book. He is up close and personal with securing the borders. Chris Christie who has no problem saying it straight up, but he's still a newly wed. At least, Gov.Christie hasn't made time to write a book. That's a plus!!
Mrs Spokeshave wields a mean pick axe..
Best was testing her new pick axe (the old one had a bent spike) in the garden and hit the main water pipe.
Has three notches on the shaft after dispatching gophers.
This is a recent poll that needs to be Freeped. It needs to be posted as a poll that needs it. I dont know how to do that.
The odds are stacked against her here but it could be turned around.
Z-O-T - - - - b-a-i-t!!
SP’s Alaska has a great director/camera crew and producer. I didn’t know I’d be interested in an adventure type show but I like this.
