That's what I remember from another website: indies were barely over 50 %, rats were slightly more than 38 % and the GOP at about 11 %. I'm afraid Scott Brown is like what has been said about the Dobbsy twins from Maine, i.e. the best we can hope for in the Northeast. I'm afraid it's hold your nose again. The last rat elected to that seat did a hell of a lot of damage.
The Dobbsy twins from Maine are a different matter now that the legislature and governor is controlled by the GOP. Collins and Snowe need to be primaried for all of their collaborating with the rats.
If Collins and Snowe are primaried, so will Brown. This is, unless he proves reliable in a way that pulls support from out of state. Without that, he would not have won in January. Overall, I think he is toast. Massachusetts grows more socialist by the day.
The last RAT elected to that seat should have been jailed for murder and executed for treason.

Good point. I supported Scott Brown as much for propogand purposes as anything else. I do have a question about Maine. Was the Republican sweep a one-time response to Obama’s overreach or the sign of a long-term trend?
