Tea Party Express is going to have a Presidential Debate branded The CNN-Tea Party Express Debate -- Labor Day week 2011 in Tampa, FL, the site of the Republican Convention in 2012.
And it will be broadcast live over cable station CNN.
It most likely will be on a College campus.
TPX will distribute the tickets to Tea Party people.
There will be a moderator from CNN who will recoginze the questioneers so they can ask their questions of the Candidates.
I had a conversation with a stratigist from Tea Party Express the other day, and revieved a lot of information.
"This is an important recognition that the Tea Party movement is real, and it opens up a whole new audience of people that will be receptive to our message. We have to grow the movement beyond Fox to make it a true majority of Americans behind the tea party banner".More information will be supplied on this thread.
We have to grow the movement beyond Fox to make it a true majority of Americans behind the tea party banner
And this will be BEST accomplished with the help of CNN?
Who edits what CNN puts on the air?
Who is going to make money from this?”
Exactly! only what is best for the Rats and Obama will be broadcast.
The Tea Party Movement is like a train traveling at lightening speed on the track of the Constitution and low taxes, small government and all that is needed to be an effective Constitutional Republic
Taxed Enough Already!
The people that are on the other side of rightousness for our Country are already working on their schemes, the time is ripe for the TPM.
I hope we can get great FReeper participation in Florida as well as cities and towns all across the fruited plain as the TPX tours across country for this event. By hook or by crook, I’m planning on being part of this tour!!

I Know but CNN ??? I would not give those Communists NOTHING.
Who edits what CNN puts on the air? It's kind of hard to edit a live broadcast.Who is going to make money from this?
CNN's ratings will skyrocket, they will make money on this.
The Tea Party Movement and individual tea partiers will get lots of positive exposure on what is pretty much a left of center Cable News outlet.
...only what is best for the Rats and Obama will be broadcast.
The TPX has a long history with CNN, they had reporters embedded on the busses on more than one TPX National Bus Tour.
They interviewed many people from the TPX crew, and many individual Tea Party people.
They gave some surprizingly well balanced coverage in the past.
We are going to have a little fire pit on stage and hold their feet to it if they go weird on us!
It’s my understanding that it’s a LIVE debate. No editing. And the audience will be made up of Tea Partiers and hopefully a whole lot of FReepers!!
There is going to be another National Tea Party Express tour across the country starting in Napa, California and ending up in Tampa for this event!
Glad to have you along again!
They ain't gonna be given nuttin’ but a big ol' dose of Tea Party.
You will be amazed!

Their audience is die hard Rats who will never change no matter who is there,This is what elected the Kenyan clown and their agenda is to discredit whatever challenges their push to the leftist take over.

Sir that throws a much different light on it.
Say, don’t mean to sound too biased, but do you suppose FR can host a Sarah Palin hospitality suite sometime before or after the event?
Great news and great job, Syncro. Thank you!
CNN?
Even if it’s live, we know that there is a thing called “COMMERCIAL BREAK”, which is a powerful tool to distract, confuse, and omit, among others!
I might agree IF THE SOLE BUSINESS OF CNN IS TO AIR THE DEBATE ... NO CNN MODERATOR AT ALL!
I think that Gov. Palin would hit those questions out of the park.
This rocks!
CNN is displayed in public buildings, airports, hospitals, etc, 24/7 in most cities all across the nation and beyond. It’s a good thing to introduce conservatism to their audience.
That's an excellent idea!
I'll see what I can do in that area.

They are in my bank also.
You are welcome Red, thanks for the encouragement!
My skepticism has nothing to do with Palin.
In the primary debate, SAME RULE MUST APPLY TO EVERYONE.
It’s the presence of CNN moderator. CNN moderator will take snipes/side comments/subtle stabbing to ALL the potential candidates.
So, CNN can be the medium provided that the following conditions are fulfilled:
1. No CNN moderator.
2. A Binding Set of Rules for the use of commercial breaks during debate to be strictly followed by CNN while broadcasting the debate.
