If Kapiolani had those records, all they would need to do to put a damper on the speculation about Obama's birthplace is to release one document - or even part of one document - indicating that Stanley Ann Dunham was a patient there in 1961. It wouldn't violate Barack Obama's privacy rights if his name were not on that document. The point is that it is very unlikely that Kapiolani has such a record, because it is very unlikely that Stanley Ann Dunham gave birth to him at Kapiolani Hospital!
