Got “Necklacing”?

"Archbishop Desmond Tutu once famously saved a near victim of necklacing when he rushed into a large gathered crowd and threw his arms around a man accused of being a police informant, who was about to be killed. Tutu's actions, which were caught on film, caused the crowd to release the man."

Have you ever done anything like that?

For the record, Alan Dershowitz is no saint either.

I live in America, not some Turd World excuse for a nation, so I never threw my arms around a potential necklacing victim - all I did was spend roughly 1/3 Megabuck on Constitutional issues.

Might I ask how much your obviously enlightenedself has spent on things other than yourself?

PS In America, one can be armed. Therefore, I would have had a better method of dealing with a mob bent on murder/torture.
