Absolutely correct! I am in the local Republican Club as well. We do our share of reeducation as some think that compromise is always appropriate. We have to explain that certain principles cannot be compromised away.

It's getting easier after McCain's huge loss. Its much easier to see what Rinoism will bring you in the end----defeat.

Being in a GOP club is a good training ground to 'know the battle' - AND, many clubs are given an amount of votes at state conventions, which may allow you personally to vote there - that is, if you're chosen to do so by the club.

Another great way to gain a ballot at state reorganization conventions is through state legislators (they award their allotted voting party memberships to those who have helped them, or have distinguished themselves in 'battle' in some way.)
