So if FR PAC could match the FR budget/take, let's say, that's 3-4 30 second prime TV commercial ad buys, neglecting cost of creating the ad. Drop-in-bucket.
If FR PAC raised 10x that amount, then it would still be less than half as much money as Christine O'Donnell spent for her single race.
I was thinking the same thing. However, other PACs can donate to us. We don’t have to depend on FReeper donations.
Besides being a monthly donor to FR, I also donate directly to political candidates of my choice. If FReeper PAC was targeting my top five choices, I donate to FReeper PAC instead. I suspect others would do the same.

What if the PAC manager(s) were to form an alliance with another one? It likely wouldn’t be a big fish in the pond alone, but there is strength in numbers while still having control over some of the funds.
I think you are right that FR is valuable in dissemination of info BUT I know from volunteering for a few campaigns that every little bit of $$ helps. Even if we were only able to give $10k to 25 candidates, it certainly can help them.
