My view is that this will have little effect on combat arms units. I just don't think homosexuals are beating down the recruiters doors looking for CIB's and those that are are there for reasons that will override their prurient interests.

In all other branches and units the laws of unintended consequences will rear their ugly little heads.

Makes my son’s decision to take athletic and academic scholarship easy. I advised him against an NROTC or USNA appointment because the PC writing was on the wall and only butt kissing princes are running the show. My father was a Marine, my MOS 0311, 5 uncles in the Navy and Marines and one rogue Air Force mechanic... my son will NEVER join up to the PC pink palaces. What is the policy on blood donations going to be? What if a lovers spat makes someone mad and he decides that he isn’t a “machine” and doesn’t feel like he should pull point or #1 position to clear a room? Lots of “hate” crime going to be prosecuted by JAG, with extra PT, cleaning the latrines and just “being mean” to all the sensitive homosexuals that will look to be offended. This is the end of unit cohesion, good order and discipline. Welcome to the new sensitive Armed Forces. What a joke.
