I'll continue using "homosexual" in preference to "sodomite" though. "Sodomy" is too broad. And in the Jewish tradition the main sin of Sodom was extreme selfishness. Myself I take that degree of selfishness to be of the sort that first tolerated and then came to be so taken over by libertine madness that the city culture demanded homosexuality as a basic act of membership. "What's mine is mine and what is yours in mine."

I heard Obama at an interview today or yesterday speaking of meeting with OUR US Generals on the DADT issue. He referred to them as "MY SERVICE Generals." A wholly selfish man he is.

In regard homosexuality even the term "Buggery" is too broad. (Although I'd like to use "buggerite" to describe those sick men who practice homosexuality.)

There is no entry in Bouvier's for "homosexuality".
