At Christmas time “Don we now our gay apparel” now means something else. Homosexuals have even polluted our language.
Even now, the correct term, “homosexual” is rarely used and is clearly frowned upon by the majority of our society. People do not want to be reminded of what “gay” people actually are and do.
Stolen the word “gay”, the rainbow, the words “tolerance” and “celebration” - even the word “hate”. Telling the truth now means “hate”.
It’s Orwellian.
When I hear the word “celebration” or “tolerance” I feel sick now. The connotations are sickening.
