Scarcely two years ago, the Democratic Party was in the driver's seat.
Or so it seemed.

These people get Obamacare, a massive “stimulus” a/k/a union handout, a seven year drilling moratorium, repeal of DADT, FinReg, etc., etc....and all they’re doing today is whining about the DREAM Act not going forward.
Who'd have thought that, 24 months later, Obama would be signing an extension of the Bush-era tax cuts that he had demonized in 2008 -- and spinning the humiliation as a win?
Who could have imagined that -- despite still controlling Congress -- Democrats would be forced to yank a $1.1 trillion pork-laden spending bill off the Senate floor?
Such lovely thoughts.......
“These people get Obamacare, a massive stimulus a/k/a union handout, a seven year drilling moratorium, repeal of DADT, FinReg, etc., etc....and all theyre doing today is whining about the DREAM Act not going forward.”
In two years, the radical progressives have done more to damage our nation than any other two years I recall—and I’ve been politically aware since Eisenhower. Possibly LBJ’s two years after ‘64 were as bad.
To their credit, an overwhelmingly minority of R’s have (even over the objections of many of their colleagues) managed to block a few of the worse ideas Nancy and Harry brought to the table.
Overall, the past two years have been a disaster. Leftists who can’t see that are almost insanely stupid. They have just had two of the most successful years any leftists in any nation have ever had.
It’s turning out to be quite a good Christmas after all..
America saved herself.
One of the greatest aspects about being American: our seemingly inexaustible ability to right the ship when we really need it.
We're not out of the woods yet, but we're getting there.
We must get rid of the six RINO’s who voted to repeal DADT.
Hell, they have gotten just about everything they want, they’ve spent us into oblivion and they are still wringing their hands and whining about crap.
If the Conservatives passed as much of their agenda in two years as the Commies have, the left would be rioting in the streets.
“We must get rid of the six RINOs who voted to repeal DADT.”
Sorry, but I’ll keep Brown. Nobody more conservative can be elected in Massachusetts. He is very strong on immigration, healthcare and the war on terror. He was firm against DREAM.
With the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Squeal Like A Pig have we hit bottom yet?
Nope, we need the hyperinflation that has been predicted for years to start.
Well, “need” is kind of harsh. we don’t “need” it. But people won’t really get roused from in front of their TVs until it cost $20 for a loaf of bread (or a cup of latte)
“...the left would be rioting in the streets....”
HOw true, how depressingly true.
“Dems’ Deflated Dreams”
or “Scu*bags Without Total Power”
I guess it's true--time flies when you're having fun (/snix).
Obama’s campaign was calculatedly designed to dupe Americans. Remember that his campaign media person Anita Dunn admitted on broadcast TV that the Obama team manipulated the voters.
Dunn actually said they did not allow Obama to be interviewed that THEY, and THEY alone, decided what voters would hear about the candidate, Connivers Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod had Marxist Obama telling voters “ I want to be another Reagan.”
The closest thing to the real Obama was the Joe Plumber exchange when Obama said he wanted to redistribute the income-—a classic Marxist phrase. Unfortunately, his opponent McCain was too dumb to capitalize on this.
The scariest words a presdent-elect ever spoke was when president-elect Obama told cheering crowds “we are hours away from fundamentally changing America.”
No one but Obama, and his team, knew what that meant.
We soon learned.
This year's DNC "holiday" card.
A very Merry Christmas to you, and a Happy New Year, too! Thank you for posting this.
....it only seems so.
