I agree that many Muslims overseas may wish to create a sharia state but there is little evidence that American Muslims wish to do so and those that do have had precisely zero success so far.

Compare this with the historical position of Jews in American society where a disproportionately high number of American Jews have actively set out to undermine the constitution of the United States. I’m not just talking about having liberal viewpoints I’m talking about the deliberate subversion of the United States both through treasonous dealings with hostile foreign powers and through domestic terrorism (something that seems to have been conveniently airbrushed out of the record).

Even those who didn’t get involved in terrorism and treason went on to undermine society in ways which is not comparable with that of US Muslims or the Irish. Think about all the institutions most commonly blamed by conservatives for subverting the US; the media, Hollywood, the courts, Wall Street big banks, university campuses, well they ain’t exactly overstaffed with Mohammeds and Hassans and do seem to attract a disproportionately high number of another ethnic group who always seem to get a free pass among conservatives that Muslims don’t.

Start Paying attention to the Muslim Brotherhood in America. As for no evidence, you are confused. Orthodox Islam calls for this. The debate between "Moderates" and "Extremists" is over tactics, whether to use violence, violence, coresion, and conversion, or just conversion and propoganda (Dawa). Think of it as Mensheviks and Bolsheviks; bioth are communist.

PS. Take another look at universities and Wall Street. Muslims are a protected class in universities with anti-Zionism and increasingly antisemitism being the norm. Wall Street Firms are all setting up Sharia-compliant funds and companies like Fox are being bought by Islamic nations through Sovereign Wealth funds.
