I doubt it, they are going to get a nice plea agreement for him to go away quietly and possibly keep his retirement or stay out of jail. You don’t sentence a Lt Col with an MD to twenty years, it just doesn’t happen.

What? They're currently in sentencing right NOW. The time for plea agreements is over. Isn't it?

That ended when he insisted on going to trial over the last charge.

he pleaded guilty to one of the charges. In a normal case a deal would would happen. It does get interesting to watch when some people change their tune for no apparent reason and it turns out later that some charges got dismissed in exchange.
