The 44 is going to be replaced with the word “Forever”, so in essence, the stamp is going to say, “Ronald Reagan Forever.”
I can already see the Libs’ heads exploding.

AND....here’s the good news...
“Although this preliminary design shows a 44-cent value, the 2011 Reagan birth centennial postage stamp will bear a “forever” inscription when issued on Feb. 10, 2011. The stamp will always be valid for mailing a 1-ounce first-class letter, the U.S. Postal Service said. (Photo copyright 2010, U.S. Postal Service)

Yup, you can stock up and send them on all your Christmas cards next year and mail birthday cards, Easter cards, Thank You cards, Just Thinking of You cards, etc to all your liberal friends and relatives.

Don’t know. They tried for another increase in Jan 2011, but were rejected.

The Ronald Reagan forever stamp. Love it.
And the top of the stamp should say "Government IS the problem".

The 44 is going to be replaced with the word Forever, so in essence, the stamp is going to say, Ronald Reagan Forever. I liked that idea so much, I decided not to wait for the government to do it...

I’d like to see the price of a stamp limited to be no higher than the number president currently in office. Locks it at 44 for the next 2 years, or earlier if impeached. Will be quite happy then with a 45 cent stamp on 1/21/13.

I love the idea. Ronald Reagan Forever.
Don’t I wish.
Ronnie, if you can hear me up there, can you help us out in 2012?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Don’t let the libs know. There’ll be an outcry now and, mark my words, the USPS will have to walk this one back.
I’m sure it’s already been printed, so they’ll destroy the stock (never mind the USPS deficit) and reprint. Keep your eyes peeled for examples of the “forever” version, which Obama’s best buds will secure from inside connections and sell on the philatelic market for premium prices, as rarities.
Hope I’m wrong, but, just sayin’
To: All
no offense to everyone but this is not the best of choices.
It does not look presidential.
It is as if the approval was done to downplay Ronald Reagan’s presidency.

This will be the third Reagan stamp in just six years. But this time, it will come out just in time to remind Americans what a real president was like.
