My hair is impossible already, too. Maybe I’ll get to the hairdresser next week sometime. It’s just so far down the list, if I can get an hour away from the Offspring!

One of my Cub Scout moms is a hairstylist. Maybe she can come over and give me a cut and color, “off the books.” I’ll ask her tomorrow. She’s rather punk, but she does a great job with her color.

My hair is impossible already, too.

One thing I learned on this trip: though I like Hilton Garden Inns, their conditioner is really bad for my hair. (Such of it as I still have.) It's more "controllable" without the conditioner.

I goofed when I packed last week and had only tiny tubes of Pantene shampoo/conditioner with me. I bought some new shampoo & conditioner at the hotel (expen$ive!), enough for several trips -- and then forgot them when I packed to leave St. George. Grrr.

Prefer not to use the hotel stuff when I can. Many years ago some hotel's shampoo left a brassy highlight in my hair and left it unmanageable. (I suspect somebody refilling the bottles was playing games.)

Tomorrow I will refill my usual travel bottles from the shower bottles at home. And the mini pomade jar (for the curled moustache, much better than moustache wax) and I'm ready for a few more trips. Though I suppose I need to replace the baggies, both "liquids" and "non-liquids", that have replaced my ditty bag.

I just remember what somebody told me a few days ago: "There is life after travel."
