Fortunately, everyone else is still feeling fine.
Off we go for a thrilling bout of Cub Scoutery.

I’m glad to hear that everyone else is feeling fine! That is really good news! And I hope that Sally recovers soon. Did she get any of the birthday dinner, cake and ice cream?

"Whoa! I wasnt counting, honest!"{ That is unfortunate. You should strive to be honest in your counting.
Of course, you live in Vegas, so ...

So THERE, NnB!
Wassup in Fairhome? Things are in such a state of flux, here.
It’s nice to know there is still normalcy in the world.

"Wassup in Fairhome? Things are in such a state of flux, here." Same old old same.
Fairhome is a boring world, with little that is challenging from an environmental position. Earth life and the native species get along very well, with little influence of even biting insects and such.
What the heck, I wouldn't introduce annoying species on a pristine world.
I guess you'd say they have a mixture of "old world" relaxed attitudes and "new world" appreciation for scientific research and economic development. Folks stay busy, you know?
.
As for your local vicinity, you have my sympathies for things being fluxxed up. Been there, dood that.

When you live in those place where it gets cold enough to put a coat to keep warm. Do the cools kids pull up their pants in the winter?

"When you live in those place where it gets cold enough to put a coat to keep warm. Do the cools kids pull up their pants in the winter?" I saw one of those cool kids today. He walked like a schmoo.
With a body like a sack of bread dough, I don't think he had any body parts to pull his pants up
to.

Grandson and wife are in mourning, now. The baby wasnt viable. The pregnancy was slowly killing the mom. So Im not a happy ex-GG-Ma. Very sad news.
In other news, another nephew is getting married, soon, and I think hes the last of the second-generation offspring. And there are LOTS of them!!
Also, another nephew has announced the pending birth of his first child, to take place in May. Hes two years younger than my son, I think. (There are so many, I have a hard time keeping up with them all... )
More happy news.
We still have... two daughters, one married. That's it. But we're both from long-lived stock, so there's time.

Not sure about this but I believe there are different varieties of streptococcus. Having had “strep throat” I sympathize — it hurts!

Well, I'm getting to hate this powerpoint. All I have to do is readjust some text placement and come up with appropriate graphics/photos, hopefully amusing, to introduce each section.
A very difficult task, it turns out. I had a really cute one of a little boy drinking from a Great Dane's water dish (for the topic: potable water), but it turns out it could well be under copyright -- just a few years too new. Grrr...

LOL, looking at demotivational posters and saw: "Know your limitations and be content with them. Too much ambition results in a promotion to a job you can't do."
Yep. I'm staying right here!

No one in Vegas between the ages of 13 and 26 pulls his pants up in the cold, and seldom wears more than a hoodie for upper body warmth.
Since I live in Hooterville Junction, I don’t have to expose my eyes to that horrific vision...

...NOT from Seattle: "Weekend: The rain clouds are moving in. It must be the weekend again." ...I read or heard somewhere many years ago, that in some areas, rain on the weekends was "caused" by the massive amounts of pollutants expelled into the air during the week; that it caused any clouds in the area to become "seeded" to the extent that by the time Saturday came around, the clouds were full, and had to get rid of the rain.
I'll have to check with the local weather prognosticator...remind me to give you an answer...

I remember much the same. I seem to recall it was hogwash. Whether that meant you sent the hog out into the weekend rain to become clean, or if it meant something else, I don’t recall.
