Oh, I’ll bet they were. Say what you will about Axe, Gibbsy, and the rest of the crew, but I’d like to think they have the basic political common sense to avoid photo ops where the president has to skip out after a minute or two to go eat gingerbread cookies.
I’d like to think The One had the same basic political common sense, but … we learn something new every day, don’t we?

What you been smokin’? Bill COMPLETELY punked Obama, and more than a little gleefully. He took the podium and offered coherent answers to the press without a teleprompter. I’m no Bill fan, but he ACED this little encounter.
I have never seen this happen before! That was really strange in a twisted sort of way. First things first for Obama! Party hearty!

Oh yea, I’ll bet he threw a damn fit and had to be sedated. My head is still reeling too. Still amazed and the more I watch the videos the more I am convinced Odummy was punked by Slick Willy. Sure no fan of Willy but compared to Odumbo, he looks downright good at this point. Anyone that can take that Kenyan America hater down a notch or two wins some brownie points.
This could be the single defining point in his Presidency where he lost all hope of reelection (a good thing), and it will played for years to come. Imagine the campaign ads.

first 30 seconds of the video at the hotair link sets up what is being described as BC taking over. Now, BC may very well have exaggerated his role in this (it got good to him), but it was definitely planned for BC to take the podium, 0 to leave, and BC to take questions.
I suspect 0 expected BC to praise how well 0 was handling things, but when 0 was cornered to return the favor to BC .... he chose THAT moment to boogie on out.

This was truly a video bonanza Christmas gift for the Clintons from the Obamas. Maybe Obama will be up for another Nobel Peace Prize next year for keeping Michelle happy this year.
