FWIW, Sanders is standing up (literally and figuratively) for his beliefs.

Why didn’t any of our Senators do this during the health care debate?

I’m not sure a filibuster would have done any good - but it would have showed our side was really committed to stopping a vote.

Maybe some Repubs might have the guts to actually filibuster something.

Because the didn't have enough votes to sustain a filibuster.

Have to give him credit for that at least, Sanders is a Socialist however he is more concerned with at least trying than missing his tee time at the Senatorial Golf Club.
