After reading this morning Sen. Jim DeMint’s explanation of why he will not support the tax bill, I find myself in the uncomfortable position of agreeing with Bernie, but not for the same reasons, I’m sure. Rush was once again crystal clear in his explanation of the shenannigans the dems are going through to get it passed, a bill liberally larded with pork. next week is going to be expensive. sd
Let’s be sure he gets enough food & water while he’s still speaking.

I called McConnell's office several times in the last few years and they always told me that he wasn't going to fight (insert socialist bill here) because he couldn't win in the end. I suggested something like this, i.e. simply gumming up the Senate, wasted my breath.
McConnell is usually unwilling to fight for anything unless he thinks it is a slam dunk. Doesn't understand that one fights for what is right regardless of the odds for winning. It's called principles.
How long has this TOOL been in the Senate?? What has he ever done beside being the lapdog for the Dems??
