The problem is that marriage *isn’t* a personal matter. Never has been, never will.

There are good reasons why it’s not. Imagine getting married to someone and not realising that they were already married to someone else. If marriage is a personal matter only, then there is no reason to disclose things like bigamy.

I disagree with Bolton, some things are wrong on ALL levels and shouldn't be tolerated by society and that's just the problem. We have this problem(abortion, perversion,etc) because government got involved in the first place. Now the only course of action social conservatives have it to take back our government, our country and kick those out of power that have caused all this damage.
